Y4 Music

In music today with @JuniorJamHQ, the children were introduced to the different notes on a keyboard and how they can move/change fingers to play the different notes. We can’t wait to develop our keyboard skills

EYFS Nativity

Residential Home Visits

Mr Couling kindly organised visits to Whitestone Lodge & St Bart’s Nursing Home where our children sang festive songs, chatted & played with residents. We look forward to our next visit next term. We wish all the residents a very merry Christmas

Y5 Olympic Workshops

We had a fantastic session with @educationgroup to get us ready for the @Olympics! Our class country was Mexico and we enjoyed taking part in an opening ceremony, as well as learning a traditional Mexican dance!  #RPEnrichment

YR Olympic Workshop

Reception loved their Olympic dance workshop with @educationgroup we did some traditional English dancing and worked together with our friends. #RPEnrichment #Olympic2024

Y1 Olympic Workshop

We had a brilliant Olympic dance workshop with @educationgroup. We focused on Spain and came to school wearing Spanish colours before learning some Spanish style dancing!  #RPEnrichment #Olympics

Today, the children learnt the importance of the kick drum and how to include it with the rest of the drum kit. The children focused on two drum beats that focused on the kick pedal.  #RPMusic

In Music this week, we created our repeating drum beat on the electric drums. We worked with our partners and showcased our created our pieces using all of the drum kit. #RPMusic

In music, we have began our new unit where we are learning the ukulele. We began by learning that this is a part of the strings family and have been very excited to start learning the notes that we can play! #RPMusic
