35This week’s attendance recognition winners were Y3 & Y5. Miss Sutton’s Y3 attendance recognition nomination was: “ Well done to the class for being fabulous this week starting our new history learning on the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age! Everyone, especially Alfie, were so curious to learn more!” Whilst Mr Stansfield said about Y5: “ Well done to Nieve for using your sensory breaks correctly to enable you to work to the best of your ability.” Nieve popped on the top hat and rolled the dice, winning her classmates a non-uniform day. Well done Nieve!
38Each half term we will be bringing you our Inclusive Attendance newsletter which is deisgned to share information and so we can work together to support school attendance. Here is our Spring Term 1 edition. A copy will hit your Class Charts inbox as well as information on your child’s attendance.
Year 1 won the attendance recognition prize and so were able to role the dice on our Classopoly board. We were really lucky to win a prize of our choice and as a class we decided on a movie and popcorn!

This week’s attendance recognition winners were Y1 & Y4.
“Well done to Darcie who came into school with a positive attitude even though she wasn’t feeling 100%.” – Mr Couling.
Miss Clarkson, “Well done for showing a great attitude towards your forest school session, tying tricky knots and showing excellent navigation skills especially Paddy, Trudi, Wyatt, Junior and Jude who all earned their navigation badge!”
18For our attendance prize, we won a STEM day! We had a fantastic time exploring different scenes on the VR headsets, creating tracks for Indy spheros and using IPads to create code in scratch.
24This week Y2 & Y3 were our attendance recognition winners and got the chance to move their class on our Classopoly board.
Mr Swatman said, “Well done to Noah and Harley who came to school, despite feeling a little under the weather, and trying really hard.”
Miss Sutton said, “Well done to the whole class who have been so inquisitive this week about waterfalls, rivers and mountains in our new English outcome, especially Poppy and Tilly who were so eager to find some extra interesting facts!”
Y3 landed on the chest so they get to pick a treat of their choosing! Well done!
16Year 4 was fortunate enough to land on a S.T.E.M day on our classopoly board as part of @IncAttendance this gave the opportunity to use our @ClassVR to visit a range of different mountains and volcanoes and much more
18YR, Y2 & Y5 were our attendance recognition winners this week and got the chance to move their class on our Classopoly board.
Miss Murphy said, “Well done to all of Reception for showing great motivation and resilience when completing their superhero sidekick tryouts! They all made fantastic sidekicks! ”
Mr Swatman said, “Well done to Asher, Callia and Lana for being fantastic helpers and tidying up the Y2 wellie shed without being asked.”
Mr Stansfield said, “Well done to Leighton Owens for working so hard this week to settle back in and catch up on learning after being absent.”
36One child said, “I have to come to school everyday because I don’t want to miss any of the fun.”

Mr Swatman said, “well done to Y2 for showing fantastic learning behaviours during their lessons this week. We have focused on improving our listening skills and showing respect when others are sharing their ideas in class.”

for showing a great level of determination when solving equations in algebra lessons!
21Y4 & Y6 were our attendance recognition winners this week and got the chance to move their class on our Classopoly board.
Mr Couling said, “Well done to the whole of Year 4 for demonstrating excellent behaviour during our OPAL stay and play afternoon.”
Miss Beggs said, “Well done to the whole class for their hard work and determination throughout our practice SATS papers.”
