Junior Dukes Meeting – 16th December

Children have until Monday 16th December to take on some of their @JuniorDukeAward challenges and update their journals, ahead of their class Duke Meeting.

Please add photos/evidence of challenges and complete reflections.

All children must bring their journals in to school on Monday 16th December please.

Children will get their challenges signed off by their Duke Leaders and earn 10 points per challenge plus an additional 100 points when they have completed all 7 challenges. That is an incredible 170 points in total for them and their team!

Junior Dukes Festival

Personal invites are coming home for all children who completed their @JuniorDukeAward challenges and have been invited to our first ever Junior Dukes Summer Festival hosted by Angels & Scallies!
2x parents/carers per family are welcome to attend the event which takes place on Monday from 1-3pm. Due to numbers of attendees, younger or older siblings can not attend. If you can’t make it don’t worry, your child can enjoy the celebrations with their friends.
Children can come to school in their party clothes ahead of their celebrations.

Harvest Festival Donations

Over the next fortnight, we’ll be collecting donations for a local foodbank to support families in need this autumn. Our SMART Council will be delivering food parcels on Friday 10th October, and we’d love your help.
Food banks are in desperate need of the following items:
– Tinned meat and fish
– Tinned fruit and vegetables
– Pasta and rice
– Long-life milk and juice
– Cereals and porridge
– Biscuits and snack bars
– Toiletries and hygiene products
– Baby items (nappies, wipes, formula)
