Year 1 were very excited to see Lucy the @LanguageAngels_fairy as the fairy on the top of our tree this morning, watching over us as we practice our Spanish number song for our class assembly on Friday! Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cincooo ….
Today we had our first KS1 Spanish extra-curricular club. With the help of Language Angels Lucy, we looked at the unit En la selva – learning animals, playing spot the wrong animal part & singing a song before doing some colouring! #RPExtraCurricular #RPSpanish
To celebrate European Day of Languages, not only did we complete our @LanguageAngels_ unit and sing Language Angels songs, we also completed a self-portrait in the style of Picasso! #RPSpanish
Nursery have had an amazing day celebrating European Language Day. We painted and coloured in the Spanish flag, we have watched Spanish dancing and sang head, shoulders, knees and toes in Spanish! We even learnt how to say a few Spanish words!
For European Day of Languages today, we had a day filled with Spanish activities and a Spanish themed lunch too! We sang songs, played interactive games and even created our own self portrait in the style of Spanish artist Picasso!

Then we looked over the map of Spain and created our own maps. We also used our grid reference skills to locate Spanish landmarks #RPMFL #RPGeography
Yesterday we enjoyed European Day of Languages! We continued our learning about pets and then we had a go at drawing and designing our very own Flamenco dresses.

¡Hola! Year 3 had an exciting week with the OPAL play afternoon. Today was also European Day of Languages, where we learnt how to greet each other, say how we feel, say goodbye in Spanish, and learnt a flamenco dance. ¡Olé!
as well as learning how to present ourselves and say what our name is, how old we are and where we are from.
