11WOW! What a great first swimming lesson we had today! Nursery loved exploring the water and gaining confidence when learning to float and move around! They were all very brave and showed great resilience! They are very excited for next week’s session @ELITE_Swim_UK
In Forest School today, Year 3 had great fun working on their map reading skills to find different locations and symbols, gathering wood, identifying different leaves from different trees and working on their fire-lighting skills.

3Year 5 thought about their culture and listed things that represent this. Sharing our lists with others in our class helped us understand cultural differences. Children also respectfully discussed ways to avoid conflict.
3Before we start developing our own recipes, we taste tested bolognese sauce from jars. We rated their appearance, texture, smell and taste before we studied the ingredient list and nutritional values. There was a clear divide in results.

2Year 3 have had so much fun making their pneumatic toys. We made lots of animals including some crocodiles, dogs, turtles and even a Pudsey bear! We have definitely learnt that air has the power to make something move!
4Year 4 built their own torches out of a range of different materials We used the bottom of a plastic bottle to create the housing. Then we made the reflector out of the top half by wrapping it in tin foil. Finally, we had to add the electrical elements
